A M E R I C A N S T E M S was founded in my dad’s garage in 2018. After college, I spent a few years working on a specialty cut flower farm, searching for peace and clarity. Flowers became a kind of therapy ~ a mindless yet inherently beautiful process that grounded me. I was amazed by the simple miracle of the earth growing such incredible life. And, I had never thought of myself as creative, but when I started working with flowers, it was like discovering an art form I could finally understand and embrace.

In June 2022, I took a big leap by signing the lease for our current studio space and committing to American Stems full time. Pouring all my focus into the business has been the best decision I’ve made. Now, in our fourth full year, we’re proud to be designing dream events for the best clients!

My creative drive comes from nature itself. ~ the wild beauty of weeds thriving on the roadside or pushing through cracks in the sidewalk. I’m obsessed with aesthetics and have a keen attention to detail that defines both me and my work.

My goal is simple: to be thoughtful with every client and to create floral experiences that evoke genuine emotion, not just cookie-cutter arrangements because “you need flowers for your wedding day.”

Looking ahead, I’m excited to grow American Stems beyond Cape Cod and bring our distinctive designs to other places we love ~ someday!

I’m also incredibly grateful to have built a small, talented team who helps bring each vision to life. I honestly couldn’t do it without them.
